United Kingdom Embassy of Ecuador Threatens Assault in London

ECUADOR, KOMPAS.com — Government of Ecuador expresses a threat against his Embassy in London, United Kingdom. United Kingdom Government had stated that law enforcement officers authorized to enter the country Ecuador Embassy in London

Ecuador Gave Asylum to Julian Assange

QUITO, KOMPAS.com — Ecuador gave political asylum to the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, two months after he took refuge at the Embassy bersar South American countries were in London. Assange is attempting to avoid extradition Central from United Kingdom to Sweden.

The Ministry says, "we want to seek a settlement through negotiation that allows us to perform obligations under the Extradition Act."

United Kingdom Government still will attempt to arrest him and won't let Assange out of the Embassy. When he comes out, he will be arrested.

Patino said his Government believed that Assange fears over political repression was "legitimate".

He said his country still running tradition of protecting vulnerable people. "We believe, our friendship with the United Kingdom remain intertwined," he added.

The announcement was witnessed firsthand by Assange and Embassy staff in a news conference via video from Quito.
