The U.S. Foreign Minister Congratulate Indonesia Independence Day

WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.com-U.s. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on behalf of President Barack Obama and the American people, conveying his congratulations to independence day-67 for the people of Indonesia on August 17.
In a written statement released by U.s. Department of State on 15 August, Clinton said, as long as a decade ago, Indonesia has emerged as a State with a growing democracy thrive, and as regional leaders and the world.

Indonesia's commitment to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), he said, has become an inspiration to countries throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Clinton also said the u.s. also wanted closer relations between the two countries that are manifest in strategic partnerships, and continue to work in favour of peace, prosperity, and democracy all over the world.
