Two Police Killed Dagestan Shot

KOMPAS.com-Two policemen were killed in a shooting at a traffic of the Republic of Dagestan, Northern Caucasus, Russia on Tuesday (14/8/2012) a night, said the press service of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Dagestan.
Investigators had previously said that three unidentified people doing the shooting while driving to Khasavyurt police in one vehicle, killing an officer and wounding a second person. One of the attackers were killed in the firefight and the other fled.
While this is still unclear about the existence of the third attacker. "One of the law enforcement killed in place, the second died after reaching the hospital," said the press service.
Police were trying to identify the attacker who was killed and continued to conduct searches against the two other perpetrators. The motives of the attack also has yet to unfold, writes RIA Novosti.
