Tropical storm landed in the Philippines North

Residents marched through streets flooded in Marikina City East of Manila, Philippines, on Wednesday (8/8). The great flood in the country that has killed 23 people and made millions of people suffer. The rescue team deployed a rubber boats to rescue thousands of people still stuck in some villages.

MANILA, KOMPAS.com — tropical storm Kai-Tak landing in the province of Isabela in the region of Luzon Philippines North on Wednesday (15/8/2012) in the morning and now crosses the Northern Luzon, said Agency Service atmosphere, Geophysical, and Astronomical Philippines (PAGASA).

Up to Wednesday at 7: 00 pm local time, tropical storm Helen which is called by the locals look at 45 kilometers southeast of Cagayan province of Tuguegarao.  Maximum sustained winds near the center of reaching 85 kilometers per hour.

Weather Bureau State has increased the number of signals from two storms in Luzon province, 16.  These areas may experience winds of 60 to 100 kilometers per hour in 24 hours ahead.

Disaster Risk reduction in Council and National as well as the Management said earlier, storm Kai-Tak has claimed its first victim in the province of Pangasinan. 37-year-old victim suffered a seizure epilepsy then fell into a flooded rice paddy in Sitio Pinalapa in the town of Basista, Monday (14/8/2012).

Since Tuesday, the rain was heavy plus strong winds until it hit Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, and Pampanga in Central Luzon, including the national capital region. Fishermen and other small boats advised not to venture out into the sea Central Luzon and Southern due to bad weather.

PAGASA predicted tropical storm will leave the country on Thursday.
